Job Description

Penn State Health is seeking a highly skilled Electrophysiology Ablation Specialist to join our Cardiovascular Unit team. As a key member of our team, you will assist in the performance of complex ablation procedures, including gathering and interpreting EP-specific clinical data and intracardiac measurements.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the performance of complex ablation procedures, including gathering and interpreting EP-specific clinical data and intracardiac measurements.
  • Function as a first assistant during ablation procedures and device implants (pacemakers and ICDs).
  • Act as a resource to other staff regarding ablative and mapping procedures.
  • Assist the physician(s) with all diagnostic and complex interventional adult Electrophysiology procedures.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience (2 years).
  • Minimum five (5) years full-time work experience in diagnostic and interventional cardiac electrophysiology.
  • Graduate of a CVT or EPT program.
  • Current RCES certification required.
  • BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • IBHRE CEPS certification preferred.
