Responsibilities
  • Assess patient health problems and needs, develop and implement nursing care plans, and maintain accurate medical records.
  • Administer nursing care to ill, injured, convalescent, or disabled patients, and provide education on health maintenance and disease prevention.
  • Perform testing and report results to physicians, and document all findings in patient medical records.
  • Assist physicians with patient visits and exams, and participate in revenue cycle management.
  • Provide telephone triage and document all patient, physician, and other contacts.
  • Perform medication administration using universal precautions and document appropriately in patient medical records.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality, communicate effectively with patients and families, and demonstrate a caring attitude.
  • Treat all patients and families with dignity and respect, and act in a non-directive, non-judgmental manner.
  • Follow universal precautions and OSHA standards, and perform other assigned duties as directed.
Qualifications
  • Current/valid license as a Registered Nurse in the state where services will be provided.
  • Maintain and possess a state RN license.
  • Maintain CPR certification.
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of common safety hazards and precautions to establish a safe work environment.
