Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced instructor to join our Psychology Department as a tenure-track faculty member. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching lower division courses in Psychology, including General Psychology, Biological Psychology, Psychology Statistics, and Psychology Research Methods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach Psychology courses on campus, with the possibility of online instruction in the future
  • Design and develop curriculum for new Psychology courses
  • Use and manage technology in the classroom, including learning management systems like Canvas
  • Advise students, serve on committees, and perform other duties as outlined in the collective bargaining agreement
  • Advance the educational success of underrepresented and underserved communities
Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Psychology with an emphasis in Biological Psychology
  • Experience teaching college-level classes in Biological Psychology
  • Preferred qualifications include a PhD in Psychology with an emphasis in Biological Psychology or significant graduate-level coursework beyond a psychology master's degree
