Salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per year. Our Logistics and Material Handling Specialist will be responsible for receiving, unpacking, verifying, and recording incoming parts and materials. This role also involves distributing and staging inventory and work-in-progress to internal customers. The successful candidate will verify and maintain records on incoming shipments, prepare orders for shipment, and ensure proper counts, labeling, packaging, and processing of paperwork. Additionally, this position will move materials, WIP, finished goods, or other products between work centers, stage for vendors, and assist with other moves throughout facilities, following safety protocols and procedures.

In this role, you will follow safe manufacturing and material handling practices, communicate material/inventory discrepancies, use computer systems for inventory purposes, and operate a forklift or other powered industrial equipment to move products around in the work area. You will also maintain necessary clerical records pertinent to the function of the position, verify and process all incoming shipments to Robinson Inc., including counting of parts, general inspection for damages, and processing of pack slips. Furthermore, you will coordinate material moves to and from work centers and ensure material needs are met throughout the organization.

A high school diploma or equivalent (GED) is required for this position. Experience with a Windows-based computer system, ability to operate a forklift, and reading/comprehension skills are essential. Preferred skills include 1-3 years' experience, experience with an ERP such as Syteline or CSI, good references with excellent work attendance and attitude, effective communication skills, ability to multitask and problem solve, attention to detail, and highly organized.
