Job Overview

Soliant Education is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our team in New Haven, IN. As an SLPA, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to support students with speech and language needs in a school setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver speech and language therapy to students as directed by the supervising Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Implement individualized treatment plans designed by the supervising SLP.
  • Record and track student progress, maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation.
  • Collaborate with the supervising SLP, teachers, and other school staff to support student development and address any needs that arise.
  • Foster a positive and encouraging environment to help students achieve their communication goals.
  • Assist with conducting assessments and gathering data as required for student evaluations.
Qualifications
  • Education: Associates or Bachelors degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, or a related field.
  • Certification: Valid SLPA license or certification in Indiana.
  • Experience: Experience in a school setting or working with children is preferred.
  • Skills: Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, families, and school personnel.
