Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at The REMM Group. As a key member of our property management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of our apartment communities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to identify and address potential problems before they occur.
  • Respond to resident maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner, diagnosing and resolving issues related to plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, and general repairs.
  • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers as needed to obtain necessary parts and materials.
  • Communicate effectively with residents and staff to ensure excellent customer service and maintain a positive and professional attitude.
  • Strategically plan and execute maintenance tasks to ensure efficient use of time and resources.
Requirements
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in multifamily property maintenance.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliance repair principles.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose maintenance issues effectively.
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
  • Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools.
  • A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
