About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavior Technician to join our team at Blue Balloon ABA. As a Behavior Technician, you will play a vital role in helping children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teaching and Intervention: Implement behavior acquisition and reduction plans, conduct stimulus preference assessments, and provide intensive one-on-one therapy to children with ASD.
  • Data Collection and Analysis: Collect data to demonstrate client progress, document using electronic data collection software, and participate in clinical team meetings to report progress and receive feedback.
  • Client Care: Provide basic care to clients, including toileting, eating, and maintaining client program books.
  • Communication: Discuss client progress with parents/caretakers and work with Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to implement individualized goals and checklists.
Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience working with children; ASD experience strongly preferred
  • Reliability and ability to work a consistent schedule throughout the week
  • Access to a reliable vehicle or public transportation
  • Ability to stand and move for at least 75% of the day, lift, push, pull up to 40 pounds
