Job Summary:

The Catering Attendant is responsible for providing exceptional food and beverage event day service to Arena guests, while exhibiting a warm, friendly, and professional demeanor to build relationships that will enhance the guest experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in maintaining, organizing, and cleaning all catering equipment
• Ensure all signage is properly displayed for each event
• Fulfill service per each Event Orders (EO), as well as Catering Service Standards
• Set up tables, top chairs, and tables for catered events as assigned by the Catering Supervisor and Manager in a timely and efficient manner
• Ensure that all Catered areas have been left in a sanitary and organized manner
• Serve all functions in a professional, courteous, efficient manner
• Break down all Catering areas after event

Requirements:

• Must be a minimum 21 years of age
• High school diploma or GED
• Must be flexible, have a sense of urgency, be able to respond quickly and resourcefully to internal and external issues
• Working knowledge of food production techniques, purchasing, and sanitation procedures
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to take tasks that are not clearly defined and appropriately define problem, propose, and implement solutions
• Valid California Driver's License
• Food Handlers Card
• TIPS Certified

Working Conditions:

This position requires standing, walking, bending, and lifting 25lbs. throughout the day as well as working at the computer; irregular hours will be required.
