Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a dedicated Surgical Scrub Specialist to become a vital part of our team.

Available Positions:
Full-Time
Part-Time
PRN

Key Responsibilities:
Under the guidance of the Operating Room Manager and Registered Nurses, you will perform surgical scrubbing and assist in maintaining the sterile field during surgical procedures. Your role will include:

  • Ensuring the proper care and maintenance of all surgical instruments and equipment.
  • Upholding high standards of sterile and aseptic techniques to prevent infection.
  • Demonstrating knowledge of all operating room equipment, instruments, procedures, and supplies.

Physical Requirements:
This position requires medium physical demand, including prolonged walking or standing. Visual and auditory acuity, along with manual dexterity, are essential for performing designated duties effectively.

Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

  • A High School Diploma or GED.
  • Graduation from a surgical technician program with documented experience.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in the surgical field or a related area.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English for effective patient care and documentation.
  • Basic computer literacy to perform essential job-related tasks.
