We are seeking a skilled Production Painter to join our team in the aerospace and defense sector. This role involves applying protective and decorative coatings to various components and finished products using advanced spray techniques.
Key Responsibilities- Utilize spray guns to coat surfaces of parts and assemblies with materials such as paint, varnish, and lacquer.
- Select and mix appropriate coating materials for various applications.
- Employ brushes or rollers for areas that are difficult to reach with spray equipment.
- Monitor quality control processes to ensure adherence to specifications.
- Process components through chemical etching prior to finishing.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in manufacturing painting.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- A GED or high school diploma.
- U.S. citizenship is mandatory due to the nature of the work.
- Previous experience in the aerospace industry is highly desirable.
This position operates on the 2nd shift, from 2 PM to 11 PM.
