Position Overview: Soliant Health is in search of a committed School-Based Speech Language Therapist to become part of our team in the Taos, New Mexico region. In this role, you will assess and treat individuals facing challenges with communication and swallowing, playing a vital role in their overall health and development. Required Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA, or eligibility to secure CCC
- New Mexico state licensure or eligibility for licensure
- Prior experience in an educational setting
- Familiarity with Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform evaluations to identify communication and swallowing disorders
- Create and execute individualized treatment strategies
- Deliver therapeutic interventions to enhance speech, language, cognitive abilities, and swallowing
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
