Visual Specialist Job Description

Overview:

The Visual Specialist plays a critical role in maintaining the visual appeal of our stores, ensuring that our products are presented in a way that showcases our brand's unique style and organization solutions. This position requires a strong understanding of sales goals and the ability to partner with the store team to achieve them.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and execute daily product maintenance routines to maintain a visually appealing store environment.
  • Direct and execute the setup of campaigns in support of marketing initiatives and product presentation.
  • Ensure new product introductions are presented in a timely and visually appealing manner.
  • Lead the P.A.C.E program for processing merchandise, including receiving, processing, and merchandising products.
  • Partner with Operations Manager and Inventory Specialists to maintain and educate staff on stockroom organization.
  • Train staff on daily routine maintenance, merchandising guidelines, and merchandise processing.
  • Ensure visual presentation is reflective of our brand, including straightening, down stocking, signage accuracy, prop samples, and dusting/cleaning.
  • Remain informed and involved in all areas of visual presentation through daily communication with specialist.
  • Actively work to improve product knowledge and share information with customers and the store team.
  • Provide regular feedback to General Manager and Store Managers on training, follow-up, and coaching opportunities.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of and actively support inventory accuracy.
  • Check email at least two times per shift and ensure staff is committed to timely communication.
  • Drive initiatives, motivate, and inspire enthusiastic and productive behavior to provide exceptional customer service and meet company goals.
  • Engage with customers to solve their organizational challenges.
  • Be accountable for achieving sales goals in partnership with the store team.
