Pediatric Palliative Care Physician

University of Minnesota Physicians is a non-profit organization dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care and advancing the field of medicine. We are seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Palliative Care Physician to join our team.
About the RoleThis is a full-time board certified/eligible Pediatric Palliative Care Physician position at the Assistant, Associate or Full Professor rank on the academic track. The successful candidate will join our Pediatric Advanced and Complex Care Team (PACCT) and contribute to our system-wide palliative care program, recognized nationally as a leader in the field.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical duties working at the University of Minnesota Masonic Children's Hospital, including in-patient consultative services and out-patient clinics.
- Work in the community in our health system's Medicare-certified pediatric hospice and home care program.
- Participate in the teaching of medical students, residents, and fellows, clinical practice through UMPhysicians, and service activities on behalf of the department, the medical school, and your profession.
- Contribute to research projects and other academic/scholarly activities, either as a collaborator or independent researcher.

Qualifications- Graduate of an accredited ACGME Pediatric Palliative Care fellowship training program.
- Board eligible/certified in Pediatrics & Pediatric Palliative Care.
- Licensed or ability to obtain Minnesota Board of Medical Practice Licensure.
- Ability to obtain/maintain DEA certification in the State of Minnesota.
- Meet threshold criteria/qualifications for Credentialing and Privileges.
