Recruitment Specialist for Healthcare Professionals

The Recruitment Specialist will manage a comprehensive recruiting process aimed at sourcing, engaging, and securing top-tier specialty physicians for temporary assignments. This position is responsible for enhancing a national recruiting strategy that identifies and connects with highly qualified candidates across various clinical specialties.
Key Responsibilities:- Serve as the primary contact for physicians and advanced practice clinicians, coordinating all elements of temporary independent contractor services.
- Employ proactive sales techniques via phone and email to attract physicians.
- Utilize advanced research methods to discover pools of exceptional physician talent tailored to our healthcare partners' specific requirements.
- Collaborate with support teams to facilitate candidates' progression through the recruitment process, including licensing, credentialing, and travel arrangements.
- Assess physicians' interest in locum tenens opportunities.
- Engage in conferences, job fairs, and other recruitment initiatives.
- Make a minimum of 50-60 calls daily to meet both team and individual targets.
- Negotiate physician contracts in alignment with gross margin goals.
- Assist in the placement of physicians by collaborating closely with client sales representatives.
- Address inquiries regarding job opportunities.
- Maintain and expand a monthly portfolio of business.
- Ensure a seamless transition for new providers into locum tenens roles.
- Utilize Fusion's Applicant Tracking System (Salesforce) to identify business opportunities and manage provider information.
- Maintain a high level of provider satisfaction.
- Achieve all production targets set by management.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Capacity to follow instructions from multiple sources and manage deliverables effectively.
- Strong judgment and proactive foresight.
- Ability to persuade and influence professionally, both verbally and in writing.
- Understanding of the physician credentialing process.
- Ability to interpret financial data and calculate profit margins.
- Effective teamwork skills, integrating individual efforts to achieve collective goals.
- Ability to cultivate relationships within a business portfolio.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Excellent prioritization and problem-solving capabilities.
- Experience making cold calls to providers.
- High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in a recruitment role preferred.
- Prior experience in locum tenens preferred.
- Familiarity with Salesforce is advantageous.
- Knowledge of online recruitment tools.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Ability to lift up to 20 lbs.
