We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team at our Albuquerque location. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles to ensure they are operating efficiently and safely. The ideal candidate will have a passion for automotive technology, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities:
Perform routine automotive maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues in vehicles, including engines, transmissions, suspension systems, and HVAC systems.
Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify potential issues and recommend necessary repairs or replacements.
Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to accurately diagnose problems and ensure proper functioning of vehicle components.
Complete repair orders in a timely manner while adhering to quality and safety standards.
Communicate effectively with customers to explain diagnoses and repair recommendations.
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and excellent customer service.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Completion of an automotive technology program or equivalent work experience.
ASE certification preferred.
Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Compensation:
Flat rate pay starting at $20 per flat rate hour, with the potential to increase up to $45 per flat rate hour based on experience and performance.
