Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Metals Handler to join our team at CM Metals NJ LLC. As a key member of our non-ferrous department, you will be responsible for handling and processing scrap metals in a safe and efficient manner.

About the Role

This is a full-time position working 35 hours per week with opportunities for overtime. You will work indoors and outdoors regardless of weather conditions, and some heavy lifting may be involved.

Responsibilities
  • Handling and processing copper, brass, aluminum, and stainless materials
  • Sorting mixed scrap metal loads
  • Identification and grading of all scrap metals
  • Providing excellent customer service and interacting with the general public

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 1+ year of experience in a similar role
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
