Materials Handler

We are seeking a highly motivated Materials Handler to join our team at CM Metals NJ LLC.

This is a full-time position in our non-ferrous department, handling copper, brass, aluminum, and stainless materials. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for prepping material for sale, sorting mixed scrap metal loads, identifying and grading all scrap metals, and working indoors/outdoors regardless of weather.

The ideal candidate will have good communication skills to interact with the general public, ability to lift heavy objects, and willingness to cross-train between ferrous and non-ferrous departments. Training for forklift use will be provided, and full PPE will be supplied.

Hiring Bonus: $5000 - $7000 per year based on experience. Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on qualifications and performance. We offer competitive compensation packages and benefits, as well as opportunities for career advancement.
