The Primary Care Physician (PCP) plays a crucial role within a collaborative healthcare team, delivering essential medical diagnostic and therapeutic services. This role includes referring patients for specialized care and providing education and preventive health advice to the patient population.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver care that aligns with licensure and certification standards.

- Collaborate with fellow healthcare professionals, including specialists in dermatology, podiatry, and wound care, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Facilitate effective communication and educational initiatives for patients, families, and healthcare colleagues.
- Engage in educational programs for physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, and support staff to enhance patient care.
- Participate in meetings focused on business operations and patient care improvement.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support the organization’s mission.

Required Qualifications:
- Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.) degree.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
- Understanding of managed care principles.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to foster relationships across various health plans.
