Job Summary

The Production Operator is a critical role in our manufacturing process, responsible for performing a variety of tasks that add value and quality to our inputs and create our final products. This position requires a high level of attention to detail, a focus on safety and quality, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform a variety of manufacturing processes, including receiving and handling raw materials, adding value through proprietary processes, and packaging final products.
  • Work in a team environment to achieve production goals and objectives.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment, adhering to all standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Perform duties while wearing personal protective equipment.
  • Work in cold and/or hot temperatures throughout the day.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of continuous prior experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Self-reliant and able to accurately work under limited supervision.
  • Able to troubleshoot mechanical problems.
  • Communicates work order progress to supervisor and production team.
  • Customer-focused and able to work in a collaborative team environment.
  • Ability to be flexible in work performed and schedule.
  • Knowledge of various pieces of high-tech manufacturing processing and packaging equipment.
  • Ability to follow manufacturer's specifications and directions.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Requirements

  • Frequent movement, including walking, standing, bending/stooping, turning, twisting, pushing, pulling, raising arms, lifting, climbing, and other active movements.
  • Working across temperature zones that may include cold and/or hot environments for extended periods.
  • Shift schedules that include days, nights, and weekends, some holidays, and periodic overtime.
