Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse to join our team at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center. As a Labor and Delivery RN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our patients through the childbirth process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized care to patients undergoing labor and delivery, including monitoring fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs.
  • Collaborate with obstetricians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Administer medications and perform procedures as needed to ensure patient comfort and safety.
  • Communicate effectively with patients and their families to provide emotional support and education.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and advancements in labor and delivery care.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
  • Oregon Registered Nurse License upon hire.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
  • National Provider NRP - American Academy of Pediatrics within 90 days of hire.
  • 1 year of Nursing experience.
