Financial Reporting Accountant Opportunity

Beacon Hill is seeking a skilled Financial Reporting Accountant to support their Accounting team. This hybrid role will involve financial reporting duties and technical assistance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and post accurate journal entries in compliance with accounting standards.
  • Reconcile and review balance sheet accounts, resolving discrepancies promptly.
  • Assist in preparing financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Manage SEC filings in accordance with U.S. GAAP and SEC regulations.
  • Prepare compliance reporting.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing processes by preparing necessary entries and schedules.
  • Assist in preparing audit schedules and collaborate with external auditors during audits.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and assist in implementing new accounting procedures.
  • Participate in special projects assigned by management.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
  • 1+ years of experience.
  • SEC reporting experience is a plus.
  • Excel proficiency is a plus.
