The Customer Service Representative plays a vital role in enhancing the customer experience at Lowe's.

This position involves assisting customers in selecting appropriate products, ensuring accurate quotes, verifying pricing, and addressing all customer inquiries.

Additionally, this role requires providing outstanding service by actively listening to customers, utilizing product knowledge to assist them, and helping load merchandise as needed.

This associate must remain alert and report any safety or security issues in the store.
The responsibilities of Customer Service Representatives may vary based on the department they support.

**Departmental Areas of Focus:**
Appliances, Cabinets, Flooring, Live Nursery, Millwork, Fashion Plumbing, Outlet, Tool Rental, Pro, or Windows & Walls.

Applicants for the Customer Service Representative role may be considered for any of these departments based on hiring needs and individual skill sets.


Travel Requirements:

This position typically does not require regular travel; however, occasional travel may be necessary for meetings, training sessions, or to assist nearby locations.

**Qualifications**

  • Hourly Full Time or Part Time positions available.

Work Schedule:

Generally, full-time associates are scheduled for 39 to 40 hours per week, while part-time associates work up to 25 hours per week; additional hours may be required based on store needs.


  • Availability for morning, afternoon, and evening shifts any day of the week is required.
  • Physical capability to perform tasks that may involve prolonged standing, sitting, and other activities necessary for job performance.
  • Associates in Greeter departments must be able to lift a minimum of 10 pounds without assistance; those in other departments must be able to lift at least 25 pounds without assistance.
**Minimum Qualifications**

  • At least 6 months of experience using a computer for inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information.
  • 6 months of experience with common retail technology, such as smartphones and tablets.
  • Ability to obtain any necessary sales-related licensure or registration as required by law.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 6 months of sales experience in identifying and selling products based on customer needs, including credit card applications, installations, add-on sales, and explaining warranties and product features.
  • 6 months of retail experience in providing customer service, including resolving customer issues, assisting customers in locating products, greeting customers, answering phones, building customer relationships, and expressing gratitude for their business.
  • Bi-lingual skills, if applicable to the store.
  • Certification in a trade related to the department (e.g., hardware, kitchen, plumbing, electrical, lawn and garden, and lumber/building materials).

Compensation:
