Job Title: Operations and Maintenance Specialist

Job Summary:

Invenergy is seeking a highly skilled Operations and Maintenance Specialist to join our team. As an Operations and Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our power generation facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain power generation facilities, including start-up, shutdown, and normal operating conditions.
  • Perform troubleshooting and repair of mechanical, electrical, and control systems.
  • Conduct routine maintenance tasks, including housekeeping and equipment inspections.
  • Develop and implement procedures to ensure safe and efficient operation of facilities.
  • Train and develop other employees to ensure knowledge transfer and continuity.
  • Use computerized maintenance management systems to initiate work requests and track maintenance activities.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum two years of directly related operations, mechanical troubleshooting, and repair experience in a power generation facility or equivalent experience in maintaining large industrial equipment.
  • Basic electrical and instrumentation experience is a plus, but not required.
  • Valid driver's license and access to an insured vehicle.
  • Ability to work in a power plant environment, including climbing and walking long distances.
  • Education in mechanical maintenance, electrical maintenance, or instrument and controls is a plus.
  • GE Frame 7FA experience is a plus, but not required.
  • Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office software.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Eligible to work in the United States without the need for employer visa sponsorship now or in the future.
