Job Overview

Key Duties

  • Deliver exceptional customer service;
  • Ensure compliance with Company signage standards (including Service Department);
  • Respond promptly to evolving sales opportunities;
  • Implement monthly visual merchandising strategies;
  • Share current market insights with team members;
  • Report competitor activities to the Regional Manager;
  • Maintain standards for fixture usage and upkeep;
  • Adhere to stockroom (warehouse) compliance standards;
  • Uphold Service Department safety standards (Eye Protection);
  • Follow the Company dress code policy (including Service Department);
  • Participate in required training sessions;
  • Encourage employee participation in mandatory training (including Service Department);
  • Conduct interviews and hiring processes; explain employee benefits; perform performance evaluations and manage terminations;
  • Engage in merchandise sales, demonstrating effective selling techniques;
  • Monitor cashier performance and related reports;
  • Ensure adherence to labor agreements, if applicable;
  • Maintain quality in ordering processes;
  • Address overstock/understock situations to ensure ordering system integrity;
  • Follow Company protocols for freight receiving and stocking;
  • Stay informed on daily/weekly sales and take necessary actions;
  • Ensure facility maintenance (including Service Department) is upheld;
  • Review and analyze financial reports, taking appropriate actions;
  • Protect Company assets;
  • Control operational expenses;
  • Discuss Profit and Loss outcomes with the Regional Manager;
  • Address customer feedback and complaints;
  • Complete daily and weekly time and attendance tasks;
  • Act on maintenance and repair needs (including Service Department);
  • Prepare the store for inventory assessments;
  • Follow procedures for handling defective merchandise;
  • Adhere to Company policies regarding freight shipping;
  • Perform additional management tasks as assigned;

Supervisory Duties

This position directly supervises subordinate supervisory staff (Assistant Manager) and non-supervisory personnel, executing supervisory responsibilities in accordance with 4 Wheel Parts policies and relevant laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, training, directing, rewarding, and disciplining employees, as well as performance evaluations and complaint resolution.

  • Ability to interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals;
  • Proficient in writing routine reports and correspondence;
  • Effective communication skills with both employees and customers;
  • Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English;

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to walk for up to 5 hours without a break, and up to 12 hours a day;

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds to a height of 3 feet and carry for 500 feet;
  • Ability to push and pull up to 25 pounds for a distance of 3 feet;

Frequently Required Activities:

  • Stand dynamically for up to 5 hours without a break, and up to 12 hours a day;
  • Reach with hands and arms;
  • Lift up to 50 pounds to a height of 4 feet and carry for 500 feet;
  • Operate machinery;

Occasionally Required Activities:

  • Sit for up to 2 hours without a break, and up to 8 hours a day;
  • Climb stairs and/or ladders;
