As a Residential Services Director at Caregiver Inc, you will play a critical role in ensuring the provision of quality and appropriate services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Under the general supervision of the Area Director, you will be responsible for promoting the agency mission statement to maximize the quality of life experiences for our consumers, inspiring the confidence of their families, and providing growth opportunities and economic stability for all Caregiver staff.

You will be responsible for ensuring that social services are provided in accordance with the standards established by various local, state, and federal regulatory organizations, including carrying a personal caseload of service recipients.

Additionally, you will be responsible for the administration of personnel, including Direct Support Professionals, Home Coordinators, and family-based providers, determining appropriate numbers of staff, implementing policies and procedures, and assuring that all staff meet competency requirements.

You will also be responsible for supervising the quality control program, visiting supported living homes and family-based providers to monitor effectiveness and compliance, conducting service recipient follow-up on medical issues, assessment recommendations, and Individual Support Plan implementation.

Furthermore, you will be responsible for preventing client abuse by adhering to all policies and procedures, attending periodic training, reporting suspicious and inappropriate behavior, and following mandatory abuse reporting requirements.

Finally, you will provide monthly oversight of individuals' finances, including reconciliation of deposits and debits, and reporting any signs of misappropriation, exploitation, or financial impropriety regarding individual funds.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in human services, social work, or a related field, or equivalent, verifiable, successful work experience, and a minimum of 1 year of management experience in a multi-site environment.

Preferred qualifications include exposure to developmental disabilities and proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.

Equipment skills required include using a PC, calculator, copier, fax machine, and scanner.
