Job Summary

As a General Laborer, you will play a critical role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our manufacturing facility, ensuring the smooth operation of our high-speed equipment, and supporting our production team in achieving our goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to company safety standards and protocols.
  • Operate scrubbing machinery and equipment as needed to maintain the facility's cleanliness.
  • Sort and support production operations as a machine operator when required.
  • Use approved solvents to remove grease, dirt, and build-up from equipment and machinery.
  • Wipe and clean out oil pans and dispose of cleaning waste as directed.
  • Maintain cleaning records and support in keeping equipment clean and orderly.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, peers, and supervisors to ensure seamless production operations.
Requirements
  • High School Education or equivalent.
  • 1-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and overtime.
  • Must be available to travel for training at other manufacturing locations.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Vocational or technical certification.
  • Experience in the high-speed packaging industry.
Competencies
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent time management and project management skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Proven math and computer skills.
Working Conditions
  • Work in a plant environment with exposure to moving mechanical parts and vehicular traffic.
  • Exposure to a wide range of temperatures.
  • Loud noise levels.
