We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our team at the Ontario Healthcare Center. As an LVN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality nursing care to our residents.

Job Summary

This is a full-time position working AM and PM shifts. Your primary responsibility will be to deliver daily nursing care to our residents, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.

Your key duties will include:

  • Ensuring patient privacy during care
  • Monitoring vital signs and performing accurate charting
  • Dressing wounds and inserting catheters as needed
  • Listening to residents and addressing their concerns
  • Assisting and supervising Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs)
  • Maintaining equipment in good working order
  • Identifying residents at risk for falls and implementing preventative measures
  • Collecting lab samples and following infection control policies
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  • A valid LVN license
  • CPR and BLS certification
  • The ability to read and write English fluently
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in skilled nursing, with new graduates welcome to apply
