About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at DispatchHealth Management. As a mobile radiologic technologist, you will perform diagnostic imaging procedures in various settings, including nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and patient locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Travel to patient locations to perform portable x-rays and EKG exams
  • Collect and verify patient information and order documentation prior to procedures
  • Prepare and position patients for diagnostic imaging exams
  • Operate portable radiologic equipment and determine exposure factors
  • Process and transmit images for reading by radiologists or requesting physicians
  • Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment
  • Assist with troubleshooting and problem-solving of equipment and systems
Requirements
  • Meet state-specific and federal requirements to perform portable x-rays
  • Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) as a Radiologic Technologist RT (R)
  • Limited Scope X-ray Operator - in accordance with State-specific requirements
  • State x-ray license (if applicable)
  • Valid state-issued driver's license and good driving record
  • Ability to move or lift equipment up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to work a varied schedule, including evenings, holidays, and weekends
