Key ResponsibilitiesThe Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-focused care by performing various essential nursing tasks. Collaborating with registered nurses and other healthcare professionals, the LPN ensures individualized care that meets established standards.
Responsibilities include:
- Delivering direct, evidence-based nursing care as directed by physicians or registered nurses.
- Assisting with medical procedures and monitoring patient conditions as required.
- Conducting laboratory tests and procedures within the LPN scope of practice after demonstrating proficiency.
- Accurately documenting patient care in medical records promptly.
- Serving as a resource for staff, students, and volunteers to enhance patient care quality.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
- Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
No travel is required for this position.
