Key Responsibilities:- Conduct thorough incoming inspections to enhance the efficiency of the quality assurance process.
- Perform comprehensive final inspections on various products, including engines and new product lines.
- Support the development and execution of quality control processes at the site level.
- Oversee the calibration schedule and management of the gage laboratory.
- Provide inspection assistance for New Product Development (NPD) initiatives.
- Initiate corrective measures to address quality issues related to processes and components.
- Engage in problem-solving activities to determine root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with suppliers to ensure quality standards are met.
- Follow up on inspection findings to ensure timely and effective resolutions.
- Promote a culture of quality within the organization.
- Maintain confidentiality to protect the organization's interests.
- Continuously evaluate and challenge existing processes to drive improvements.
- Conduct audits on outbound shipping to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a quality inspection role.
- Experience inspecting machined components using various handheld gauges for at least 3 years.
- Familiarity with ISO9001 standards is preferred, with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, product specifications, and industry regulations.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with all levels of staff.
- Experience in root cause analysis and troubleshooting.
- Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Proven problem-solving abilities and organizational skills.
- Self-motivated and adaptable to changing priorities.
