Key Responsibilities- Design and execute experiments in phage display, molecular biology, and antibody characterization
- Conduct ELISA, cell-based assays, and kinetics by BLI experiments
- Independently carry out tasks and duties with minimal oversight
- Prepare buffers, reagents, and materials for experiments
- Record and analyze experimental data, write data summaries, and contribute to technical reports
- Maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment, including inventory management and common lab supply stocks
- Perform literature searches and present findings in a professional manner
- Bachelor's degree in a biology-related field with 4 years of experience in an academic or industry setting
- Experience with DNA/RNA preparation, DNA primer design, PCR methodologies, and cloning
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Experience with ELISA experiments and aseptic technique
- Ability to follow written procedures and protocols precisely
- Good communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills
- Experience working in a startup environment with a willingness to learn new skills
- Experience designing and troubleshooting experiments independently
- Experience with phage display or antibody discovery
- Experience with infectious disease immunotherapeutics
- Experience with biolayer interferometry (BLI)
The physical demands of this position include lifting and carrying laboratory equipment, standing and walking for prolonged periods, and fine motor skills for tasks such as pipetting and operating delicate equipment.
BenefitsEitr Biologics, Inc. offers a competitive salary range of $80,000 to $95,000, a generous PTO policy, 100% medical, dental, and vision coverage, and up to 6% 401(k) contributions.
