About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Systems Engineer to join our team at Actalent. As a key member of our Mechanical and MEP group, you will be responsible for performing engineering design evaluations and leading project engineering design specific to Mechanical and HVAC Engineering.

Salary & Benefits: The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $50.00 per hour, with benefits including medical, dental & vision, critical illness, accident, and hospital insurance, a 401(k) retirement plan, life insurance, short and long-term disability, health spending account, transportation benefits, employee assistance program, and time off/leave.

Responsibilities: This role involves designing mechanical systems, conducting energy modeling analysis, ensuring energy code compliance calculations, preparing engineering analysis of projects, drawing layouts, preparing technical construction specifications, coordinating with other disciplines, and performing field observations as part of the construction quality assurance process.

Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need a 4-year Mechanical Engineering Degree from an accredited institution, a professional engineer (PE) license (preferred), high-level written and verbal communication skills, high attention to detail, proficiency in Revit and/or AutoCAD, experience with Microsoft Office, B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, NC PE or ability to acquire NC PE quickly through reciprocity, 8+ years of relevant experience, and a strong understanding of financial metrics and data analytics.
