Project Finance Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Finance Manager to join our team at an environmental consulting firm in Sacramento, CA. This is a direct-hire, on-site position available for immediate hire.
Responsibilities- Financial Management: Review and manage project contracts, ensuring all financial terms and conditions are adhered to.
- Project Monitoring: Monitor and track project progress, including costs, and investigate any variances.
- Project Planning: Assist Project Managers with the development of project plans, schedules, and workflows.
- Document Management: Maintain organized project files and ensure that all documentation is up to date.
- Invoicing and Payment: Accurately process vendor and subcontractor invoices, as well as employee expense reports, within established timelines.
- Billing and Collections: Ensure timely and accurate billing processes and assist the Controller with payment collection efforts.
- Cost Tracking: Track and maintain records of project costs and related expenses.
- Vendor Communication: Communicate with vendors and subcontractors regarding billing requirements and payment status.
- Client Collaboration: Collaborate with clients to define project requirements, scope, and objectives.
- Project Closeout: Support project closeout processes upon contract completion.
- Education: Associate or bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Experience: Previous relevant accounting or project finance experience.
- Accounting Knowledge: Strong understanding of accounting principles and procedures.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and Adobe.
- Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational skills with great attention to detail.
- Time Management: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Communication Skills: Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively at all levels.
- Confidentiality: Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Customer Service: Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on internal and external relationships.
This position offers an estimated annual salary between $73,000-$83,000, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision coverage, a 401K plan, short- and long-term disability, life insurance, vacation and sick days, and additional optional benefits.
