Job Overview:

Ledgent Finance & Accounting is seeking a skilled Financial Reporting Manager to join our team.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented and analytical individual to oversee financial reporting, maintain internal controls, and ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).

Responsibilities:

  • Financial Reporting: Manage and prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including month-end reconciliations and close processes.
  • Internal Controls: Maintain and strengthen internal controls to prevent errors and misstatements in financial reports.
  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to GAAP, company policies, and procedures.
  • Special Projects: Assist with special projects, such as year-end audit and tax requirements.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree: In Finance or Accounting, or equivalent field.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years public and/or corporate accounting experience.
  • Real Estate Experience: A plus, but not required.
  • Knowledge of GAAP: Healthy understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Microsoft 365: High proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications, including Excel, Word, Teams, PowerPoint, and Visio.

Salary: $85,000 - $95,000 per year, depending on experience.
