Patient Access Operations Lead

At Bronson Healthcare, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Patient Representative Lead to join our team. As a key member of our Patient Access Operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our Patient Access department.
Key Responsibilities:- Monitor and manage the workflow of our Patient Access team to ensure efficient and effective operations.
- Lead and coordinate education and training for our scheduling and registration staff.
- Oversee the quality and quantity of our workflow to ensure completion of work assignments.
- Utilize leadership skills to support staff, solve problems, and make decisions.
- Act as a subject matter expert for the organization, providing guidance and support to staff.
- Facilitate the resolution of problematic situations and inform leadership of action taken.
- Review reports and provide recommendations for process improvements.
- Work closely with Patient Access and Radiology Leadership, staff, and IT to ensure understanding of the scheduling process and responsibilities.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous referral experience preferred, with prior Epic experience helpful.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, CPT, and ICD-10 coding.
- Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Medic.
- Ability to facilitate a team and be a team member.
- Problem-solving skills to critically analyze data and recommend alternative plans of action.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to maintain positive customer service.
- Ability to establish effective working relations with office staff and employees in a team environment.
- Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality.
- Effective prioritization skills and ability to manage time independently.
- Works in a clean, well-lighted, and temperature-controlled smoke-free environment.
- May require periodic travel to other Bronson locations.
