\About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacist Local Specialty to join our team at Walgreens. As a key member of our pharmacy department, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the pharmacy and ensuring the highest level of customer service.

\About You:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in pharmacy operations, with a focus on workflow management, clinical management, and quality improvement. You will also need to have excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.

\Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the daily operations of the pharmacy department, including prescription filling, inventory management, and cash handling.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal and state laws and regulations governing pharmacies.
  • Develop and implement asset protection controls and procedures to minimize profit loss.
  • Maintain awareness of third-party pharmacy business opportunities and ensure proper administration and implementation of third-party pharmacy systems and procedures.
\Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or PharmD degree from an accredited educational institute.
  • Current pharmacist license in the states within the district (or willing to obtain in 1 year) per district guidelines.
  • At least 1 year of pharmacy experience, including prescription filling and verification, records and legal compliance, pharmacy operations, pharmacy software and technology systems, and insurance.
\Estimated Salary:

$86,528 - $166,400 per year, based on location and experience.
