This role offers a hybrid work model, allowing for 3 days in the office and 2 days of remote work each week.

The successful candidate will demonstrate the capability to independently manage diverse engineering projects while collaborating with a broad spectrum of clients, including architects, developers, property owners, and real estate professionals.

You will be part of a collaborative team environment, guided by a Project Manager or Senior Project Manager, and will engage in various responsibilities including:
  • Site plan development
  • Geometric design
  • Grading and drainage solutions
  • Pavement engineering
  • Soil erosion and sediment management
  • Utility design (storm, sanitary, and water)
  • Stormwater management and sustainable infrastructure design
  • Traffic engineering plans
  • Detailing and specifications
  • Preparation of permit applications and cost assessments
  • Participation in meetings
  • Conducting site inspections
  • Overseeing construction administration tasks

Minimum Qualifications:
You should hold a civil engineering degree from an ABET accredited institution or possess an equivalent level of relevant experience.
At least 5 years of professional engineering experience is required.
Proficiency in AutoCAD software is essential.

Preferred Qualifications:
Possession of a PE license in Michigan (or actively pursuing one) is advantageous.
Experience with Civil3D software is preferred.
