We are seeking a highly skilled Workers Compensation Associate Attorney to join our team. As a key member of our litigation team, you will be responsible for representing clients in all aspects of workers compensation claims, including hearings, appeals, and litigation.

Responsibilities

  • Represent clients in workers compensation claims, including hearings, appeals, and litigation.
  • Conduct thorough case evaluations to determine the validity of clients' claims.
  • Develop and implement effective legal strategies to achieve favorable outcomes for clients.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate settlement agreements.
  • Provide expert legal advice to clients regarding their rights and obligations under workers compensation laws.
  • Stay abreast of the latest developments in workers compensation laws and regulations.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure the delivery of high-quality legal services.
  • Maintain the highest standards of professional conduct and ethics.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Ohio state bar.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in workers compensation law, including experience in hearings and litigation.
  • Demonstrated ability to represent clients effectively in court.
  • Excellent research and analytical skills.
  • Exceptional negotiation skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
  • High degree of professional ethics and integrity.
  • Demonstrated commitment to advocating for the rights of workers.
