We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Instrument Technician to join our Sterile Processing team at Union Hospital in Terre Haute, Indiana. As a member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest quality patient care by processing and preparing medical instruments for surgical procedures.

About the Role

This is a full-time position that offers a competitive salary range of $45,000-$65,000 per year, depending on experience. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent and at least two years of experience working in a surgical environment, with knowledge of surgical procedures and instrument sets. Certification as a Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) is required within two years of employment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure accurate preparation of instruments and equipment for procedures.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to strict sterilization protocols.
  • Assemble and disassemble instrument trays and special equipment according to standard procedures.
