Overview:

U of L Physicians, a leading healthcare provider in Louisville, KY, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Physician Associate (PA) to join our team as a Full-Time Hospitalist at UofL Health-Jewish Hospital.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled PA to provide exceptional patient care and contribute to the success of our hospital-based team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and a passion for delivering high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care as a member of the interdisciplinary team
  • Participate in rounds, assessments, and development of patient care plans
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient interactions and treatments
  • Contribute to the ongoing education and training of colleagues

Working Conditions:

This position requires working 7 nights per week, 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., with 182 shifts per year. A night stipend is provided, and you will have access to fully funded tuition to the University of Louisville and tuition reimbursement programs for yourself and dependents.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Physician Assistant Studies or related field
  • Current licensure and certification as a Physician Assistant
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in hospital medicine or a related field
