Job Title: CRA Mortgage Loan Officer

Job Summary:

WSFS Bank is seeking a highly motivated and experienced CRA Mortgage Loan Officer to join our team. As a CRA Mortgage Loan Officer, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with community-based organizations, Realtors, and governmental agencies to ensure full compliance with the Community Reinvestment Act.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain relationships with community-based organizations, Realtors, and governmental agencies
  • Sell and originate residential mortgage loans to a predetermined sales goal focused in CRA assessment area needs
  • Identify and meet with prospects, explain various mortgage products available, determine best alternatives together with prospects and finalize sales
  • Work with community-based organizations and municipalities to collect and submit subordinate financing (down payment assistance programs) for consideration in originating mortgages to low-moderate income borrowers

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum one year of experience marketing and originating CRA mortgage loans and loan products
  • Active registration status with NMLS (Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry)
  • Effective sales skills
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Self-motivated and ability to work with minimal to no supervision
  • Willing and able to travel to assigned branch locations, customers' homes and businesses, and perform presentations when requested
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Superior customer service skills
  • Proficiency using Microsoft applications such as Word, Outlook, and Excel
