Liver Transplant Anesthesia Fellow

At VCU Health - MCV Physicians, we are committed to providing exceptional patient care and advancing the field of liver transplant anesthesiology. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Liver Transplant Anesthesia Fellow.
Key Responsibilities:- Teaching and Supervision: As a Liver Transplant Anesthesia Fellow, you will have the opportunity to supervise residents and CRNAs in a variety of specialty-specific cases, with a focus on liver transplant cases.
- Clinical Experience: You will be consistently involved in pre-transplant candidate assessments for the multi-disciplinary liver transplant selection committee and work closely with transplant hepatology, transfusion medicine, and transplant critical care medicine.
- Education and Professional Development: You will receive a stipend for conferences, books, and other approved academic resources, and have dedicated time to work on academic projects.
- MD or DO degree
- ABA board eligible/certified in anesthesiology
- Eligible for unrestricted medical licensure in Virginia
- Good communication, clinical, and teaching skills
- Demonstrated experience working in and fostering a diverse faculty, staff, and student environment
