Job Opportunity

Doeren Mayhew CPAs and Advisors, a leading public accounting and advisory firm, is seeking a skilled professional to join our Financial Institutions Group in Miami, Florida.

We are a Top 60 CPA firm in the nation, recognized for our expertise in auditing and advisory services. Our team of professionals delivers industry-focused expertise to over 350 financial institutions across the country.

The ideal candidate will provide support to our Shareholders, Managers, and Auditors, assisting in daily office needs and contributing to the completion of quarterly audits of Credit Unions. Key responsibilities include:

  • Gathering and processing information from Credit Unions for member verifications and confirmations
  • Creating and sorting Microsoft Excel spreadsheets and performing mail merge functions
  • Processing large quantities of incoming and outgoing mail
  • Assisting in the preparation of reports using IDEA software for auditors
  • Creating and updating letters to banks and financial institutions
  • Providing backup receptionist support
  • Maintaining an organized filing system

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 1+ years of administrative or clerical experience required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel (Intermediate preferred), Word, and Adobe
  • Experience with IDEA, PFX, Suralink is a plus
  • Working knowledge of office equipment, such as printers and fax machines
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Basic accounting knowledge preferred
