Job Summary: The U.S. Army 1st Medical Recruiting Battalion is seeking highly skilled and dedicated Medical Psychologist Officers to join their team. As a medical psychologist in the U.S. Army, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality mental health care to Soldiers and their families.

About the Role: In this position, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating various mental health conditions, as well as providing preventive care and education to promote overall well-being. You will work closely with other healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans and ensure seamless care coordination. Your expertise will help improve the lives of those who serve their country.

Requirements: To be eligible for this position, you must possess a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.) degree from an accredited U.S. school of medicine or osteopathy. Foreign graduates may also apply if they have a permanent certificate from the Educational Council of Foreign Medical Graduates. Additionally, you must hold a current license to practice medicine in the United States, District of Columbia, or Puerto Rico, and meet the eligibility criteria for board certification. Completion of at least one year of an approved Graduate Medical Education (GME) internship and a training program in psychiatry are also required. You must be between 21 and 42 years of age and a U.S. citizen.
