This role involves designing and delivering educational programs for nursing staff to enhance their skills and knowledge in patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and implement educational activities that meet the needs of nursing staff and align with our hospital's mission and goals.
  • Work collaboratively with other educators to develop and deliver a comprehensive orientation program for new employees.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of educational programs and identify areas for improvement.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in nursing education and incorporate best practices into our programs.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Nursing or related field required; minimum 5 years general medical/surgical experience and applicable teaching and clinical experience.
  • Certification in specialty area preferred; NYS RN license and American Heart Association certification in Basic Life Support (BCLS) required.
