Radiologic Technologist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Northeast Georgia Health System, Inc. As a key member of our Diagnostic Imaging department, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Job Summary:

Under the direction of a Radiologist and Supervisor, you will perform radiographic procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail. You will be responsible for performing a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative to apply ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate radiographic equipment according to equipment specifications and produce quality radiographs.
• Adhere to infection control and safety practices, maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
• Assess patients according to exam ordered, with appropriate documentation and patient education.
• Comply with RIS standards and CPAC procedures when indicated.
• Meet productivity standards as defined by the department.

Requirements:

• Licensure or other certifications: ARRT Registry or Registry eligible with 1 year to provide proof of registered status.
• Educational Requirements: High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum Experience: N/A.
• Other: Graduate or graduation eligible of accredited ARRT Program.

• Preferred Licensure or other certifications: N/A.
• Preferred Educational Requirements: N/A.
• Preferred Experience: One (1) year.
• Other: N/A.
