Physical Therapist

Mass General Brigham is seeking a highly skilled Physical Therapist to join our team in West Greenwich, Rhode Island.
This is an ongoing opportunity to provide physical therapy services to patients with impairments, functional limitations, or disabilities resulting from injury, disease, or other causes.
As a Physical Therapist, you will practice in collaboration with other members of the interdisciplinary team, educate patients, families, and others, and direct and supervise support personnel.
You will also be responsible for managing technical, environmental, and financial resources effectively and efficiently.
Responsibilities- Assess and evaluate physical therapy needs according to organizational and professional guidelines.
- Develop and implement treatment plans that reflect understanding of patients' age and situation, including discharge plans.
- Revise treatment plans based on patient progress towards stated goals.
- Document patient information, treatment plans, and progress in accordance with facility and practice guidelines.
- Orient, train, and mentor therapy and health care students to achieve stated performance expectations.
- Identify and act upon performance improvement opportunities to implement best practices.
- Complete additional department, organization, or network activities as established.

- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.
- Licensed (and in good standing) as a physical therapist in the state of Rhode Island.
- Basic skills in math and computer science.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills with the English language.
- Appropriate knowledge of physical therapy evaluation and treatment techniques to manage the rehabilitation population.
- Computer proficiency required, with Microsoft Office applications preferred.
