Seeking:
Outpatient Substance Use Counselor - Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT)

Qualifications:
A Master's Degree or one of the following certifications: CAC, CAS, CADAC, CRC, LADC, LICSW, LCSW, LMHC, LMFT

Work Schedule:
Full-time hours from Monday to Friday, 5:30 AM to 2 PM, available either on-site or through telehealth services.

Remote Work Requirements:

Role Responsibilities:
The Outpatient Substance Use Counselor plays a vital role in the treatment and recovery of individuals dealing with opioid use disorder.

Providing compassionate and high-quality care, counselors will engage in both individual and group therapy sessions.


Key Duties Include:
  • Delivering empathetic guidance during individual and group counseling sessions.
  • Planning, overseeing, and documenting patient recovery processes.
  • Co-facilitating group or family therapy sessions as necessary.
  • Ensuring timely and clear documentation of patient care and treatment incidents.
  • Developing individualized treatment plans for each patient.
  • Conducting initial and follow-up assessments.
  • Assessing patient needs and determining the necessity for referrals to additional programs or facilities.
  • Planning aftercare for assigned patients as needed.
  • Providing crisis intervention when required.
  • Managing case responsibilities to ensure personalized quality care.
  • Acting as a liaison between patients and referral sources as necessary.

Required Education and Experience:
  • A Master's degree in a social or health services field is mandatory.
  • The degree must be from an accredited institution.
  • Prior experience in addiction recovery and/or MAT environments is essential.

Licenses/Certifications:
If the candidate does not possess a Master's degree, one of the following certifications is required: CAC, CAS, CADAC, CRC, LADC, LICSW, LCSW, LMHC, LMFT
