Mechanical Technician

Noble Casing Inc. is seeking a skilled Rig Mechanic to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our drilling equipment.

• Troubleshooting and Repair: Utilize technical expertise to diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic components of our drilling equipment.
• Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and upkeep of drilling equipment, including Drawworks, Mud Pumps, Iron Roughnecks, and Pipe Handling equipment.
• Training and Development: Train rig crews in operator maintenance, technical level, and troubleshooting skills to ensure optimal equipment performance.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance, repairs, and service work.

• Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year related experience.
• Training: Must successfully complete Noble Casing Inc.'s industry-specific training and orientation.

• Problem Solving: Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; gathers and analyzes information skillfully; develops alternative solutions; works well in group problem-solving situations; uses reason even when dealing with emotional topics.

The work environment is fast-paced and dynamic, with regular exposure to varying weather conditions, moving mechanical parts, and potential hazards. The noise level is usually loud.
