Job Summary

The Maintenance Engineer III position at Craig Hospital is responsible for ensuring the proper functioning of the hospital's physical structures and systems. This includes repairing and maintaining hospital properties, performing skilled and semi-skilled building maintenance and repair tasks, and adhering to customer service standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Complete engineering tasks and respond to work service requests
  • Repair and maintain hospital plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and other engineering systems
  • Maintain grounds, including irrigation systems, interior structures, and furnishings of the hospital
  • Adhere to customer service standards and work with other Engineering staff to ensure timely resolution of maintenance issues
  • Perform regular preventive maintenance on equipment, computerized operating systems, and plant facilities
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Certification in HVAC field required
  • 3-5 years experience in building/property maintenance required
  • Experience in hospital building/property preferred
  • Excellent organization and customer service skills
